I have a strong passion for yoga and research. My main passion it to add to the research field on effects of yoga in treating mental illnesses such depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use disorders, and more. Parmjit Singh to investigate the therapeutic potential of Taoist Tai Chi and Yoga on eating disorders. The Tai Chi group was too small in the end to compare but we found fantastic results on yoga for eating disorders, such as a drop in BDI score from extremely depressed to moderately depressed after 10 weeks of yoga, one per week.
